Hays have partnered with a Family Office who are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to join their team in Riyadh.
As the Chief Accountant, you will take ownership of the family's personal and investment-related financial activities. This is a standalone role, where you will oversee financial management across multiple investment structures and jurisdictions while acting as a trusted advisor to the family.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full spectrum of personal and family office finances
Maintain accurate accounting records across local and international investments, and personal holdings under family ownership.
Prepare periodic financial reports and insights
Oversee cash flow management, budgeting and financial planning.
Manage fund transfers across entities and ensure accurate recording.
Support consolidation across multiple structures.
Lead the upgrade and implementation of accounting software.
Improve financial controls, processes and reporting frameworks.
Liaise with external advisors, auditors and banks where required.
Interface directly with family members with professionalism and discretion.
Operate with high confidentiality and trust.
Work independently while providing strategic financial input.
Experience Required:
Must be a Chartered Accountant - ACCA is preferred, CA or equivalent.
Background within Big 4 Audit Firms is highly desirable.
