Description

Client looking to add an Assistant Actuary - Valuation to their life practice. This position provides actuarial services and support in the building, maintaining and measuring of insurance products. This position is essential for the company's management of risk and to assure the appropriate level of profitability. 
Duties:
Responsible for quarterly PBR reporting for life products using Prophet model
Responsible for new products implementation and assumptions update in Prophet model for life valuation.
Maintain Prophet model for life valuation including performing User Acceptance Test and model validation.
Responsible for PBR Year-End sensitivities and support VM31 reporting for life products.
Support internal and external audit requests and regulator requests for life valuation
Support statutory Year-End reporting and state filing for life valuation.
Support rating agency survey and provide attribution analysis for internal stake holders, for life valuation.

Requirements

Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Actuarial Science, Mathematics Statistics or related field or equivalent work experience.
Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries designation preferred
2+ years of Prophet modeling experience, with life product focus.
PBR and statutory valuation knowledge preferred
