Several years ago, we undertook an effort to focus our company’s energies on the unique needs of a number of industry segments we felt would benefit from our specialized expertise. This new beginning as a specialty company has brought a great deal of excitement and optimism to our employees, generating new opportunities for business growth. Our dynamic history and exciting future in specialty cultivates a collaborative and innovative company culture, making OneBeacon a truly “special” place to work.
In September 2017, our company reached a major milestone when we were acquired by Intact Financial Corporation. The merger created a leading specialty insurer in North America, combining Intact’s leading commercial lines track record, deep data, claims and digital expertise with OneBeacon’s outstanding team and specialty lines capabilities.
