Torus Insurance Holdings Limited is the Bermudian holding company of three insurance entities, Torus Insurance (UK) Ltd, an FSA regulated UK business, Torus Specialty Insurance Inc., a US excess and surplus lines insurer and Torus Insurance (Bermuda) Ltd, a Class-4 insurer domiciled in Hamilton Bermuda.
The company currently consists of a Bermudian holding company of two newly established insurance companies, Torus UK an FSA authorised and regulated UK insurer, and Torus Bermuda, a class-4 insurer domiciled in Bermuda.
The U.S. headquarters for Torus is located in Jersey City, NJ. There is an operations centre located in India, and regional offices located in Amsterdam, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Paris, Zurich and San Francisco.
Torus is rated A - (Excellent) by A M Best.
